1. Materialise NV (NASDAQ):  Est.: 1990; Revenue: $126 million 

Materialise NV is a company based out of Belgium currently engaged in software solution and additive manufacturing or 3D printing.

Recently, the company announced a collaboration with Siemens to advance additive manufacturing technology. Materialise and SYNNEX Corporation signed an agreement that will deliver a complete 3D printing package for large-scale 3D printing operations. On a recent note, Materialise partners up with Velleman to develop new builder software.

Materialise provides its services to industries including Aerospace, Art and Design, Automotive, Healthcare and Consumer goods.

2. 3D Systems Corporation:  Est.: 1986;    Revenue: $633 million 

Chuck Hull, the inventor of stereolithography, is the co-founder and executive vice president of 3D systems. The company offers 3D products and services including 3D printers, print materials, part services and design tools.

The major products of the company include M-Print, M-Flex, Innovent, Exerial, S-Max, and S-Print.

4. HP Inc.: Est.: 1939; Revenue: $48.2 billion

Hewlett Packard (HP) is an American multinational company that offers technologies, software, products, and services to small, medium and large sized business. The company provides its products in three major segments:  personal systems, printing, and corporate investments. Printing is one of the major business segment.

HP and Deloitte announce an alliance to accelerate digital transformation of $12 Trillion global manufacturing industry targeting a wide range of customers with new $ 50,000 to $ 100,000 device. HP Inc. announced the commercial availability of its award-winning Jet Fusion 3D Printing solution and the expansion of its 3D printing business across the APAC regions.

One and a half years after launching its 3D printing globally, HP Inc. has forayed into the market in India on January 17, 2018, partnering with Imaginarium and Adroitec as resellers of its 3D printing solution. HPs 3D printing division has partnerships with BMW AG, Nike Inc, and Johnson & Johnson.

 5. Nano Dimension Ltd: Est.: 2005; Revenue: $47.8 million

Nano Dimension Ltd., through its subsidiary, Nano Dimension Technologies Ltd., develops 3D printed circuit board printers. The company’s 3D printers are used for printing multi-layer circuit boards.

Recently, Nanyang Technological University purchased DragonFly 2020 Pro 3D printer for the development of electronics that have posed a challenge to conventional manufacturing processes. The company markets its products to customers Electronics, Automotive, oil/Gas/Energy industries

 6. Organovo: Est.: 2005; Revenue: $1.5 million

Organovo designs and creates functional human tissues using 3D bioprinting technology for use in drug discovery, clinical development, and therapeutic applications, and these printed tissues can be implanted into the human body.

Founded in 1988, Stratasys Ltd. provides 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions. The company holds over 1200 manufacturing patents globally of which some of its patents include Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) and PolyJet printing technologies to enable the production of prototypes and tools used for manufacturing. The company operates in two categories including products and services. Products division offers commercial 3D printers, filament and some others. Services division includes custom 3D printing performed by SSYS and installation, maintenance, and training of its systems.

9. SLM Solutions Group AG: Est.: 2005; Revenue: $89.49 million

 SLM Solutions AG is a leading provider of metal-based additive manufacturing technology. The company operates in two segments including machine sales and after sales. The machine sales segment engages in the manufacturing, marketing and sales of its machines selectively for the laser melting. The after sales provide machine related services and accessories. It provides a solution to various end-user industries including aerospace, automotive, tool construction, and medical technology and energy sectors.

10. Voxeljet AG: Est.: 2005; Revenue: $24.77 million

 The company was formerly known as Voxeljet Technology GmbH. Voxeljet AG was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Friedberg, Germany. Voxeljet AG provides 3D printers and on-demand parts services to industrial and commercial customers. Its 3D printers employ a powder binding, additive manufacturing technology to produce parts using various material sets. It serves various industrial companies which are active in automotive, industrial, manufacturing, architecture, medicine, art film and entertainment.
