Transfection technology is used for the introduction of biopolymers into desired cells (eukaryotic cells). In animal cells, the transfection term is referred to as the transformation used to describe the non-animal eukaryotic cells and progression to carcinogenesis in the animal cells. Depending upon the nature of genetic materials, they will stay in the cell stably or transiently. In case of stable transfection, the genetic material is combined with the home genome. In another case of transfection which is transient, the genes which are produced are expressed for a limited period. When RNA is transfected, RNA is used to regulate protein expression by blocking translation and act as a cytoplasm. In the process of DNA introduction into cells, by using their machinery, it will produce proteins.
